Microsoft Copilot Training for Manufacturing Teams

1-day onsite Microsoft Copilot training for operations, quality and supply chain teams. Hands-on with your own production and quality records — shift reporting, deviation write-ups, supplier correspondence.

Autonomous Operation Workflow

  1. 9:00 — Foundations for operations teams: What Copilot does reliably with operational text and tabular data, what it does badly, and where a human must stay in the loop for quality-critical work.
  2. 10:00 — Shift reporting: Turn a shift log into your standard report format. Handle missing entries, ambiguity and the sections that must never be auto-generated.
  3. 11:30 — Deviations and non-conformance: Draft NCR and deviation write-ups against your own template, with the evidence trail preserved and the investigation left to your engineers.
  4. 1:30 — Supplier and maintenance correspondence: Corrective action requests, chasers and maintenance summaries drafted from the underlying record rather than rewritten each time.
  5. 3:00 — Production data and daily meeting prep: Take a production or downtime export and produce the summary your daily meeting actually needs, exceptions first.
  6. 4:00 — Beyond prompting: build a plant use case: Each group builds one working use case end to end and demonstrates it — usually shift reporting or deviation drafting.
  7. 5:00 — Take it back to the floor: Prompt library exported, owners assigned per shift or function, and agreement on what runs live next week.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is our production and quality data safe during onsite training?

We sign enterprise NDAs prior to the session, and all hands-on exercises use your organisation's approved Microsoft 365 tools under your existing tenant permissions and access controls. Commercially sensitive records can be anonymised by your team beforehand. Microsoft states that Copilot prompts, responses, and Microsoft Graph data are not used to train its foundation models.

Does this touch our MES, SCADA or PLC systems?

No. This is training on document, reporting and correspondence workflows inside Microsoft 365. We do not connect to, configure or read from control or execution systems, and we would treat any such work as a separate engineering engagement with its own safety review.

Can Copilot write our deviation and non-conformance reports?

It can produce a structured first draft from the underlying record, which is usually where the time goes. The investigation, the root cause and the sign-off stay with your quality team. We build the workflow so the human review step is explicit rather than assumed — which is what your auditors will ask about.

What exactly will our team have at the end of the day?

By the end of the workshop your team will have applied Copilot to real operational workflows and built at least one working plant use case during the session. We agree the specific use case with you before the session so it is realistic for your team and their data.

Can you run it across shifts?

Yes. For plants running continuous operations we usually split into two sessions on consecutive days rather than pull an entire shift off the floor at once.

Do you deliver outside Singapore?

Yes. We deliver onsite across Singapore and the wider Southeast Asia region, and travel further for larger engagements.
