Operations & Supply Chain AI Training Singapore
Hands-on AI training in Singapore for operations and supply chain teams on Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Amazon Q, using your own records.
AI training for operations & supply chain teams

Operations teams run on procedures, handovers, supplier documents and exception records — and an assistant that fills a missing term with a plausible one creates real risk. This is a hands-on programme for operations, procurement, quality and supply chain teams who need to apply Microsoft Copilot, Claude Cowork, Gemini Enterprise, Amazon Q Enterprise or ChatGPT Enterprise to procedures, supplier comparisons, quality records and planning — treating a gap in the source as something to raise, not fill. Sessions are delivered in Singapore, on site or remote, using your tool licences and anonymised versions of your own documents.
Who this programme is for
Operations, procurement, quality and supply chain teams.
- Operations managers and supervisors writing procedures and shift handovers
- Procurement teams comparing supplier proposals and preparing clarifications
- Quality and maintenance teams summarising deviations and records for review
- Operations leaders deciding where AI may support decisions on the floor and where it must not
Who it is not for
- Teams looking for a vendor demo rather than hands-on practice
- Anyone expecting AI to approve suppliers, release stock or close quality deviations without human sign-off
- ERP, MES or planning-system implementation projects — this is applied assistant training
Assistants covered in the programme
The programme is delivered on the assistant your organisation already licenses. The techniques transfer between them.
Microsoft Copilot
Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams inside Microsoft 365. Used for procedures, shift handovers, supplier comparisons and exception summaries from records you already hold.
ChatGPT Enterprise
Analysis over uploaded specifications and records, custom GPTs for repeat procurement and reporting tasks, and prompt patterns for handovers.
Gemini Enterprise
Google Workspace operations work: Docs procedures, Sheets for inventory and exception tracking, and grounded answers over manuals in Drive.
Claude Cowork
Long specifications, quality manuals and supplier contracts, compared clause by clause against agreed criteria.
Amazon Q Enterprise
Grounded answers over connected operational sources for organisations standardised on AWS.

Hands-on exercise. Summarise deviations, maintenance records and inventory exceptions for accountable human review.
What you leave with. An exception report and action-tracking workflow.
The same operations & supply chain day on each assistant
The modules stay the same; the exercise changes with the tool your team is licensed for.
Microsoft Copilot: Standard operating procedure from shift notes
- What goes in
- A fortnight of shift handover notes and the current, outdated procedure document.
- What is asked
- Rewrite the procedure as numbered steps reflecting how the work is actually done, marking every step where the notes disagree with each other.
- What comes out
- A draft SOP in Word with the disagreements highlighted for the process owner.
- What the reviewer checks
- The process owner resolves each highlighted step; safety-critical steps are signed off by the responsible person, not by the draft.
ChatGPT Enterprise: Late-delivery analysis from a CSV
- What goes in
- Six months of purchase order and goods receipt data as a CSV.
- What is asked
- Show late deliveries by supplier and by month, and list the ten worst orders with the days late.
- What comes out
- A summary table and chart for the supplier review.
- What the reviewer checks
- The totals are re-run in a pivot table you control before the figures go to a supplier meeting.
Claude Cowork: Supplier contract comparison
- What goes in
- Two competing supplier agreements and your evaluation criteria.
- What is asked
- Compare liability caps, service levels, termination rights and price adjustment terms clause by clause, and flag any term that is missing.
- What comes out
- A side-by-side table with gaps marked as gaps.
- What the reviewer checks
- A missing term is raised with the supplier, never inferred from the other contract.
Gemini Enterprise: Supplier proposal comparison in Sheets
- What goes in
- Three supplier proposals in Drive and your weighted criteria.
- What is asked
- Score each proposal against the criteria and flag any criterion a proposal does not address.
- What comes out
- A comparison Sheet with gaps shown as gaps, not zeros.
- What the reviewer checks
- Procurement confirms each score against the proposal text before the shortlist is shared.
Amazon Q Enterprise: Cross-system exception questions
- What goes in
- Connected inventory and maintenance sources.
- What is asked
- List stock and maintenance exceptions for the week, naming the source of each.
- What comes out
- A weekly exception summary for human review.
- What the reviewer checks
- Any system not connected is named in the summary so a reader knows what the answer could not see.
Singapore rules the exercises respect
Operations documents carry legal and safety weight, and the review step reflects that.
- Procedures with safety-critical steps are signed off by the responsible person under your Workplace Safety and Health obligations, not by a draft.
- Supplier and contract comparisons flag missing terms for negotiation rather than assuming them.
- Supplier and employee personal data in records is anonymised before it is used in an exercise.
How the sessions run
Delivery
On site in Singapore or remote, delivered live. Cohorts are kept small enough that every participant works on their own files rather than watching a screen share.
Duration and scheduling
Typically one full day, or two half-days scheduled around shift and production patterns. Module order is adjusted to your calendar and tool stack.
Session structure
Each module follows the same pattern: a short walkthrough of the technique, a hands-on exercise on your own data, then a review of what the assistant got wrong and how to catch it.
After the session
Participants leave with the prompt patterns, templates and review checklists produced during the session, so the work continues after the training day.
Prerequisites
- A licensed seat on at least one of the covered assistants (we can run the programme on whichever your organisation has)
- Working knowledge of your own procedures, supplier process and quality records
- Anonymised or sample working files — a procedure, two supplier proposals, a deviation log extract
- No coding background required
Data handling and human review
- Exercises run inside your own tenant and your own licences, so your data does not leave your environment for the training.
- Files shared with the trainer in advance are anonymised extracts; supplier pricing, contracts and production records stay inside your own tenant and licences.
- Every module includes verification: checking output against the source, confirming what the assistant left out, and marking what still needs a human read.
- Approvals stay with your people. The programme teaches AI-assisted preparation and review, never unattended supplier, stock or quality decisions.
Who delivers the training
Abhijit Ghosh
The programme is delivered by Abhijit Ghosh, who has spent 25 years in data and AI, including roles at Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, Cloudera, Tibco and Wipro. Sessions are run by the practitioner, not handed to a junior facilitator.
Frequently asked questions
Which AI assistant should our operations team use?
Start with the one your organisation already licenses. Microsoft Copilot suits teams working in Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams; Gemini Enterprise suits Google Workspace; ChatGPT Enterprise and Claude Cowork are stronger for long, document-heavy work; Amazon Q suits AWS-standardised estates. The programme runs on whichever you have, and the techniques transfer between them.
Do participants need a technical or coding background?
No. The programme is built for practitioners, not engineers. If you can describe how the work is done today and you know your own documents and systems, you have the prerequisites. Nothing in the sessions requires scripting.
Will we work on our own material?
Yes. Private sessions run on your own procedures, supplier documents and records inside your own tenant. Where a file has to be shared with the trainer in advance, an anonymised extract is used, so supplier pricing and production data stay inside your environment.
How long is the programme and how is it scheduled?
Typically one full day, or two half-days. Operations teams usually schedule around shifts so the floor stays covered. Module order is adjusted to your tool stack and calendar.
Is the training delivered in Singapore?
Yes. Sessions are delivered on site in Singapore, or live and remote for teams spread across the region.
What do participants take away?
A reviewed procedure and shift handover template, a source-backed supplier comparison and correspondence pack, and an exception report with an action-tracking workflow — all produced during the exercises using your own material.
How is this different from a vendor product demo?
A demo shows features on prepared data. This programme applies the assistant to your own work, including the cases where it produces confident, wrong output — because recognising and catching those is the skill that matters once the team uses it unsupervised.
Can an AI assistant compare supplier proposals reliably?
It can line proposals up against your agreed criteria and point out where they differ, quickly. What it must not do is assume a term that a supplier did not state. The comparison workflow in the programme flags missing terms as clarification requests, and the decision stays with procurement.
Can AI-drafted procedures be used for safety-critical work?
Only after the responsible person has verified and signed them off. The assistant shortens drafting; it does not replace the competent review your safety obligations require.
Do we need clean data before the session?
No. Real, messy shift notes and records are better material, because finding the gaps and contradictions is part of the exercise.
